DATA PROTECTION SETTING GDPR
The purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is to harmonize data protection legislation within the EU, thus facilitating the provision of services across the EU. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the current Personal Data Act and will be applied almost as is. One of the key changes in the GDPR is the obligation of the registrar to demonstrate that the processing of personal data has been complied with.
The purpose of the GDPR is to enable citizens to better manage their information. The GDPR regulates, among other things, the collection, processing and disclosure of personal data, and the associated rights and obligations. Almost all businesses deal with personal information. The rules are the same for all businesses operating within the EU regardless of their location.
